A compilation of various recordings
of compositions from 1997-2000 from several different sessions in New York and Miami. Missile Ante
enlists the help of several happening musicians from these two towns plus Seattle, San Francisco, and
Philadelphia in ensembles consisting of three horns with bass and drums, and without, quintet with
tuba and guitar, and sextet with piano and another trombone.

The bulk of this music has been available
for a while on the "Superhero" soundtrack, but this new release finally presents the
extended, unedited versions from the cutting-room floor in the original sequence and
presentation. Also included is the recent version of "Sono Come Tu Mi Vuoi" for the
Italian Snowdonia Records label, complete with Stegner's Kentuckytalian bass voice
